Northern Rivers Tours & Attractions
There are many Attractions and Tours for the tourist or visitor to Northern Rivers, New South Wales. While in Northern Rivers - check out some of these fantastic attractions and tours.
Amaze n Place
Home of the Living Lattice Labyrinth - the largest maze in the world grown in this fashion as a result of the inosculation of over 9,000 trees. Due to its open structure, claustrophobics will be relaxed in this maze, as will parents of young children.
Puzzles are available to play with and range from jigsaws for toddlers to the most mind-bending challenges. These puzzles are also for sale and are ideal as gifts - especially for those who are difficult to buy for.
Experience fine local coffee, tea and home-made cake either the coffee shop or on the veranda, overlooking the maze. Deliciously fresh lunches are available and are made using local produce.
Byron Bay Ballooning
Welcome to Australia's Ballooning Paradise. It is, according to our chief pilot Chris Dewhirst, Australia's most decorated balloon pilot, and first to ever fly a hot air balloon over Mt Everest, simply 'the best place to balloon in Australia'. We offer daily sunrise flights; the flight is one hour, the whole experience takes about four hours.
Rising out of the misty morning to drift dreamily through sunrise skies, you will be overcome by the beauty of the 'rainbow region'. Soaring majestically over an ever changing terrain stretching out endlessly underneath, you will enjoy a bird’s eye view of Byron's famous headland and beaches, the massive volcanic rim surrounding Mt Warning, and far beyond the Great Dividing Range. Included are a traditional Champagne breakfast and a commemorative flight certificate.
Cape Byron Kayaks
Experience all the fun and adventure with Cape Byron Kayaks on a tour through the Cape Byron Marine Park. Paddle with the dolphins, turtles and whales that frequent Byron Bay. Enjoy morning tea on a beautiful secluded beach. Novice or experienced, your tour will include paddling the waterways, the waves and the wilderness.
